The rear-wheel drive version of the Porsche Taycan is capable of 489 kilometers on a single charge and runs 0-100 in 5.4 seconds.
The Porsche Taycan Turbo S came with 761 horsepower, and then the more modest Turbo and 4S variants up to 571 horsepower were soon introduced. What they have in common is that there is one electric motor per axle, so they implement all-wheel drive. Now, however, for the time being - only for Chinese customers - the plain Taycan, with only a single electric motor at the rear, has become available.
There is a 79.2 kWh battery pack under the floor that allows you to cover 414 km on a single charge. Optional is the Performance Battery Plus, ie the 93.4 kWh battery, which increases the range to 489 kilometers. Maximum power is 408 horsepower with the smaller battery and 476 with the bigger one. The rear-wheel-drive Taycan accelerates to 100 in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 230 km / h. Because there is no shoot in the nose, the combined size of the two trunks has increased to 491 liters.
