In addition to the smaller sales volume compared to the previous year, the Renault group increased its turnover in the third quarter of this year, according to a report published on its website on Friday.
In the third quarter of July-September, the Renault group achieved sales revenue of 9.782 billion euros, 20.5 percent higher than the 8.120 billion euros a year earlier. In the quarter, Renault sold 481,000 vehicles, 2.4 percent less than the 493,000 a year earlier.
Price increases contributed 12.8 percentage points to the 20.5 percent increase in turnover.
Renault's sales figures no longer include the results of the Russian car manufacturer Avtovaz. The third-quarter 2021 base was reduced by Avtovaz's €537 million and Renault Russia's €330 million at that time.
