A French consortium with self-propelled electric mobility solutions would complement the transport of a newly established scientific research park near Paris.
With the collaboration of economic organizations and educational institutions, the Paris-Saclay Autonomous Laboratory was launched to develop and disseminate autonomous, emission-free transport solutions.
Under the test program, a 6-kilometer section of electric, self-propelled bus would transport passengers, and those who would not travel on this fixed route could use a smartphone application to call a self-propelled Renault Zoe prototype.
The remodeled Zoe hatchback can be easily recognized from their huge, upward and forward-facing doors and backward facing front seats. The vehicles run completely independently, but their operation is continuously monitored from a center.
