After the prototypes used for homologation and fracture tests, the Croatian Rimac began production of pre-series copies of the C-Two.
Production of Rimac C_Two pre-batch copies has begun. Six pieces are planned, which will be used to perfect the production process and the production line itself, and then the series production of the final copies can start next year.
A car is built for eight weeks, including the three weeks needed to produce each component and system: Rimac’s new manufacturing plant, in which cars are made in five phases (four at full capacity per month), takes half a time to complete a vehicle like previous technology . In each zone, two or two are intertwined with the current components. The driveline and brake system of completed cars are first checked on a brake bench and then each car can prove on the factory test track that it is free from all unwanted noise and vibration.
The Rimac C_Two will be a real beast: its 1914-horsepower powertrain is powered by a 120 kWh battery pack. It accelerates to 100 km / h in less than 2 seconds and has a top speed of 412 km / h.
