Retractable, modular expandable platform and body options for patented electric utility vehicles from the American Rivian. Will it look like that?
The Rivian R1T can be a Swiss bicycle for pickups when it comes to the market: a purely electric vehicle is full of unexpected storage locations, but it seems to have no end to variability.
The manufacturer has patented modularly replaceable superstructures for your car. Thus, an electric utility vehicle could be converted from a camper van to a freighter or hobby vehicle in a short time.
The images shown here were made by readers of the Rivian forum, so they may not represent the reality of the future, but in any case, they clearly illustrate the potential inherent in the purely electrical structure.
Equipped with an electric motor, each with a three-stroke battery, the Rivian R1T will be available at the end of 2020, with a range of 370-643 km depending on the battery you choose.
Assuming, of course, that it really does happen
