Only nineteen pieces are produced from the Lamborghini Siam Roadster, but don’t worry: the special series is sold out to the last thread.
Equipped with the Lamborghini’s strongest powertrain in existence, the 819-horsepower petrol-electric unit, each horsepower needs to move just 2 kilograms. The open car thus accelerates to 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of over 350 km / h.
From the top view (as well as in its taillights), the surface of the Countach-evoking car has been optimized so that the open roof does not affect its aerodynamic characteristics. The rear active grille has been given special control: they are made of heat-responsive intelligent material, so they turn away and open the ventilation path when exposed to the heat from the exhaust.
The mode of air exchange has also been given indoors: the ventilation grilles are made with a 3D printing process, they can be decorated with the initials of the owner's name.
The Sian’s 785-horsepower, 8,500-rpm V12 petrol engine is paired with a 34-horsepower electric motor integrated directly into the transmission. The 48-volt system is powered by a super-capacitor instead of a battery. Advantages of the technology Superior performance compared to lithium-ion batteries: it can show ten times the energy density and three times the weight / power ratio. The electric motor and capacitor together weigh only 34 pounds.
