With just 4256 mm long but enormous cooling mask and extended wheelbase (2671 mm), the Skoda Vision IN, a pre-study of the brand's crossover to the Indian market, looks more impressive. Another characteristic feature of the face is the split LED headlamp, which is enhanced by crystal-like details.
The roofline runs straight back, the sunroof and aluminum roof rails create a demanding effect. Unnecessary large 19-inch wheels and chrome-plated window frames invite cash buyers. The MQB-A0-IN floorboard variant is specifically designed for Indian use; the Vision IN series will launch in 2021.
The car is powered by a 150-horsepower, 1.4-liter petrol engine with 250 Nm of torque and a seven-speed transmission with dual clutch. The car accelerates from stand still to 100 km / h in 8.7 seconds. In the cabin, the familiar details of Škoda's European models (12.3-inch virtual dashboard, by-wire shift lever) are complemented by the typical hand-printed fabric of Indian folklore, the Kalamkari. The upholstery of the seats is made of sustainable synthetic leather or fabric made from various plant debris (eg recycled palm leaves).
A crystal knob in the center of the dashboard is used to access the on-board infotainment system voice-controlled assistant.
