At night, occasionally, they shut down Route 2 at Dunakeszi and Gödö for up to 10 minutes, because they are building a new overpass on the M2.
Motorists can expect periodic road closures on the Dunakeszi-Göd section of Main Road 2 between 3 and 7 December, as beams are lifted into the overpass over the main road.
The road section can be closed between 22:00 and 5:00 pm, occasionally up to 10 minutes. A five-hole, almost 74-meter-long overpass is being built. The bridge structure is finished, and the bridge beams will be placed next week.
Works are done when trains do not go. At the time of closures, you can get to the M2 highway.
In the framework of the investment, the 2.5 km long connecting road will be built by the end of 2019, so M2 can be reached faster from Dunakeszi and Göd.
