A German company, together with the owner of the Saab brand, is preparing to build a solar panel vehicle in Trollhättan.
Once again, the hope of Saab's resurrection has died up again and again, but a German business seems to be getting tired of it, but it seems that car production can restart in Saab's former home, Trollhättan.
The Sono brand is said to have been the same with Saab's right-holder, NEVS, so it will be possible for the German city of Zion to be produced next year.
They want to produce 260,000 pieces of solar automotive in eight years. The prototype of this type has been tested across Europe since 2017; the 330-cell solar cell placed on the body surface alone is capable of generating 34 full free and carbon-free kilometers; the rest of the car can be picked up from the network. The total range is 250 km or less, if the battery is used to power our home or to charge other consumers.
Sono is expected to be sold at a price of less than EUR 26,000, and it is said that it has already received nearly 10,000 orders.
