Toyota has revised its new generation Camry V6 release, and if it has been working on it, it has been tuned to Avalon.
Toyota Racing Development (TRD) company tuning workshop took over the North American version of Toyota Camry. The TRD package is not for the hybrid version but for the 301hp 3.5V6, which we will probably not be able to market, but the final result is still interesting.
In the Toyota Sports Class, the chassis was lowered by 15 mm, the floor was reinforced, new springs and shock absorbers were installed, and corner stabilizers tightened.
They did not touch the engine, but the exhaust is more sophisticated, and the car has got a special end pipe.
In the passenger compartment, we see the same red theme as the increased discs in bite calipers and the TRD emblems: the company logo is sewn with red threads, the steering wheel stitches and the seat belt are red.
The same design comes with the Avalon TRD, including the 19-inch matt black wheels. These are two lighter than the Avalon and 1.3 kg lighter on the Camry.
The packages also come with a complete aerodynamic package with front splitter, threshold solutions, diffuser and rear air deflector.
