The Szolnok plant, which employs 600 workers, participates in the projects by producing a total of nearly 500 car cabinets.

In the production of the four types, welding, polishing and pre-assembly of the aluminum car cabinets are carried out at the Stadler plant in Szolnok.

Stadler has been manufacturing trains for 80 years, the company group employs more than 13,000 employees in its production and engineering centers and maintenance sites in different parts of the world. In 2021, the group's sales revenue increased by 18 percent to 3.6 billion Swiss francs compared to the previous year, and by 2022 sales revenue of between 3.7 and 4.0 billion Swiss francs is expected.

It is present in Hungary with three subsidiaries - Stadler Szolnok Kft., Stadler Magyarország Vasúti Karbantártó Kft., Stadler Trains Magyarország Kft. - and the average number of employees last year was 755. According to the consolidated data, in 2021 the three subsidiaries in Hungary had sales revenue of HUF 54 billion, which is a 13.25 percent increase compared to 2020. The company has invested more than HUF 50 billion in Hungary since 2007.
