Three star diesel and petrol engines are available in the first round of the European brand GLE. And there are Hungarian prices for this type.
In 2015, Mercedes renamed M-Class to GLE (W166) during a model upgrade, and recently introduced a completely new second-generation model (V167). For the first time, the public was able to watch the brand-new GLE live at the Paris Motor Show, which has finally been revealed in its European engine palette and domestic prices.
The entry level is represented by GLE 300d with a basic price of 19.68 million forints, with a 2-liter serial 4-cylinder diesel engine with 245 hp and 500 Nm of torque. This power is sufficient for a 7.2 second 0-100 or 225 km / h speed.
The next step is the GLE 350d, which starts at 20.62 million forints, and has a 3-liter serial 6-cylinder diesel unit. The 272-horsepower and the 600-Nm engine make the SUV accelerate to a speed of 100 at a speed of 6.9 seconds and accelerate to 230.
The strongest diesel version is the 22.98 million HUF GLE 400d, with its 3-liter serial 6-cylinder engine frees 330 horsepower and 700 Nm on the wheels. So it takes only 5.8 seconds for the 0-100 sprint and the final speed is 240 km / h. Interestingly, the 700 Nm peak torque can be pulled up to 1200 rpm.
Last but not least, the 3-liter 6-cylinder turbo gasoline engine in the 21.46 million HUF GLE 450 produces 367 horsepower and 500 Nm output. This top-of-the-line model fires at a speed of 100 in 5.7 seconds and the Autobahn can speed up to 250.
The common features of the four GLEs are the 4Matic four-wheel drive and the 9-speed automatic transmission. The first copies will be available to buyers in the spring of 2019.
