On the occasion of the Land Rover World Day, we can take a look at the new generation Defender's test program, which makes the vehicle useful.
1.2 million test kilometers of Defender prototypes have been made so far, so it will soon be time to drop down the pseudo-phobia, and in fact show it to the public. In the meantime, however, we enjoy the pictures that Land Rover has announced about the sharp testing of the model.
Instead of burning the gas oil only in the blind, the new Defender will work: a 14,000-hectare area of a Kenyan nature reserve carries equipment, trains and guns through swamps and other wetlands. By the time it becomes a series, more than 45,000 different tests are being tested for the new model, which was presented to the public on 30 April at the Land Rover World Day.
The prototype of the car was tested not only on extreme terrain, but also on the Nürburgring.
The new Defender will be manufactured in Nitra, Slovakia.
