With its 96 g / km CO2 emissions, the g-tron variant is a particularly clean alternative to the Audi A3. This has not changed, but the value of the type has decreased for the new model year.
The Audi A3 g-tron, the model driven by natural gas, has been renewed. The great novelty of the 2019 design is the increased CNG (compressed natural gas) capacity: the two 6.9kg tanks have a third, 4kg built-in. the two larger ones are now lighter (two thirds) lighter than the steel used so far.
The size of the petrol tank was reduced to just 9 liters to accommodate the extra tank, so the car can now be used for virtually pure CNG operation - with an average of 200 kilometers of petrol, instead of the previous 900, while the 400-kilometer range has barely more than 100 kilometers.
