The soon-to-be-launched, revamped Volkswagen Polo doesn't cost a dime: even the cheapest version gets a digital instrument cluster at no extra charge. There will also be features that we can purchase as software later.
An eight-inch (20.32-centimeter) digital instrument cluster and multifunction steering wheel: these two items will not be missing from any Volkswagen T-shirt once the company begins selling the wrinkled model. Also standard is the 6.1-inch (15.5 cm) central touch screen, which also offers smartphone integration and remote retrieval of certain vehicle data.
Of course, this is not the highest level of digitization: there will also be a 10.25-inch (26.04 cm) virtual instrument cluster with changeable appearance and content, and an 8-inch touch screen with wireless smartphone integration, wifi hotspot, internet radio and more. The most important of these is that the navigation service can be ordered even later, ie activated in the on-board software store.
Additional options include an 8-inch and 9.25-inch navigation system, which already supports sign recognition (with a camera hidden behind the windshield), voice control, while dual-zone air conditioning settings can be controlled via a separate touchpad.
