The novelty of the French manufacturer's environmentally conscious powertrain is available with three levels of equipment.
Earlier last year, Renault unveiled the new Clio, which we also thoroughly tested recently, and which until recently was available in normal internal combustion engine versions. However, now the hybrid powertrain Clio, the E-Tech Hybrid 140, is also available in the manufacturer's domestic offer.
Our hybrid Renault Clión can be the cheapest for 7.1 million forints, because that's how much the basic model with Zen equipment costs. The Intens version opens at HUF 7.65 million, and the price tag of the most expensive RS Line version shows HUF 7.95 million.
Based on a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, electric motor and automatic transmission, the Renault Clio has a maximum output of 140 horsepower and 349 Nm of torque. All this allows 9.9 seconds of 0-100 acceleration and a top speed of 180 km / h with a WLTP consumption of 4.3-5.1 liters.
The hybrid Clio battery, which can be used in electric mode in up to 80 percent of urban use, has a capacity of 1.2 kWh and a trunk size of 301 liters.
Among the rivals, the 116-horsepower hybrid Toyota Yaris has a base price of HUF 6.29 million, and the 109-horsepower hybrid Honda Jazz can be driven home after paying a minimum of HUF 6.99 million.
In Hungary, the 65-horsepower SCe 65 version is the cheapest Renault Clio, which can be purchased for HUF 3.95 million. The base prices of the 100-horsepower and 130-horsepower petrol Clos will open at HUF 4.75 and 6.4 million, respectively, and the 115-horse diesel Clio at HUF 5.7 million.
