The airbag between the front seats makes its debut in the Honda Jazz, so in the event of a side-on collision, you won’t collide with the mother seat passenger.
Of the many new safety systems in the new Jazz, the central airbag between the front seats is most emphasized by Honda. Right: although it is no longer a world first, it is still quite an exciting and rare security system, especially in this size class.
The upper section of the driver's seat side support is housed in a curved airbag that opens in the event of a collision between the driver and his first passenger. According to Honda's factory tests, the system reduces the risk of head injuries by 85 percent in the case of impacts from the driver and 98 percent in the case of a side impact from the other side.
In the new Jazz, by the way, the rear passengers also get side airbags; the balloon covering the door and the C-pillar was designed so as not to impede the mobility of the tickle-lock magic seats.
