Customers may already be interested in the new generation of the Lexus Smaller Coupe, the RC. Not only is the car renewed from the outside, the new chassis provides a more sophisticated driving experience.
Lexus engineers were thinking more sporting than ever before when they upgraded the RC. Not by chance, because the extended version, the RC F is the basis for the Japanese luxury brand GT3 and Super GT racing cars. Developments have improved the aerodynamic performance of the car, and the air resistance coefficient was reduced to 0.306.
They also refined the tuning of the double crossbar arm first and lateral arm suspension. The shock absorbers allow even less vertical displacement. And with the combination of the steering gear and better grip tires, the manufacturer promises more precise control.
The hybrid drive chain delivers 223 hp and drives the car in just 8.6 seconds. In a mixed cycle, the RC promises a consumption of 5.9 l / 100 km, which in the city is capable of running on 50-70% of the time in pure electric mode. The 181 hp, 2.5 liter four-cylinder, 221 Nm petrol and 143 hp electric power can work separately and together, depending on the road conditions, but we can even decide which drive to drive. The RC drives at the back, but we won't know how to rush, because the top speed is 190 km / h.
The car has nowadays indispensable driving aid systems (dead space monitor, transverse traffic monitoring, lane departure warning system), but it can provide extra extras in this area. Such is the integrated vehicle dynamics system, as well as the Lexus Safety System +, which includes, among other things, an anti-collision safety system with adaptive cruise control. In addition, we can still monitor the tire pressure from the car, and we will not be blinded by other cars due to automatic distance light control.
