A few little things only changed on the Kia Stingers during the upgrade, and they simply listened to the engines.
The Kia Stinger was released in 2017, with its long-engined and rear-wheel-drive platform being a real specialty on offer for Koreans. The Korean domestic models have an E instead of the Kia logo, which is a symbol of “engineered by excellence”. There are several new features in the Stinger update, but you almost have to look for them in the car with a magnifying glass.
As usual, the headlights with LEDs have been renewed and 10 diodes give the driving light reminiscent of a checkered flag. More striking is the taillight, which is connected in the middle according to the latest fashion. Exhaust ends and the diffuser in the rear bumper have also become more pronounced. New 18 and 19 inch alloy wheels are available for the model.
Indoors, the 8-inch central display has been replaced by a 10.25-inch touch screen with an updated menu. The upholstery is now also available in a leatherette version with a choice of aluminum or carbon upholstery. The mood lighting in the passenger compartment can be selected from 64 colors.
Kia did not provide details on the engines. The Stinger is available with two petrol engines and a single diesel. The 255-horsepower version features a 2-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine, and the peak is the 366-horsepower, 3.3-liter V6. The diesel is 2.2 liters, four-cylinder and has 200 horsepower.
