In November, 13.2 thousand new passenger cars were launched in Hungary, which is a new peak this year.
Looking at the same period of the previous two years, it is lower than last year's result (14.2 thousand passenger cars) this year, but almost two thousand better than in November 2018.
In terms of brands, Suzuki is at the forefront, with a market share of more than 17 percent and the launch of 2,276 new passenger cars. Second is Toyota with 1272 cars on the market and a market share of 9.59 percent. In third-place Ford (1121), only 54 fewer cars were placed on the market by Opel in fourth place and Škoda in fifth place by seventy.
For the first 11 months of this year, the top three lineup is the same as in November: first-place Suzuki gained 11.33 percent market share, Toyota 9.84 percent and Ford 8.97 percent. Last year’s numbers could only be surpassed by Toyota: it sold 9,769 new cars in the first 11 months of 2019, compared to 11,344 this year.
At the low point in April, 6,188 new cars were sold in Hungary.
