Toyota Racing Development did not wait long, they were already working in a wind tunnel to improve the new Supra with carbon fiber elements.
For 17 years, we had to miss Toyota Supra, but the Japan's iconic sports car was finally presented after a long wait and a lot of leaks. The A90 model was developed jointly with BMW, but unlike his sister Z4, the Japanese version has become a coupe and the design is quite typical. This, in many cases, was a flaw with the beacon of Bavarian origin. As with previous generations, GR Supra will soon be featured with a variety of tuning stuff, with TRD, Toyota Racing Development, presenting some little things.
Performance has not been dealt with for the time being, but will not wait for long. In the first round, the optics were shaken, and the car was equipped with more aerodynamic elements that really optimize airflow around Supra and produce a clamping force. The car is surrounded by carbon edges, a carbon fiber insert has been placed on the door as well as a smaller rear wing. For example, the splitter on the front increases the clamping force at high speed.
TRD also offers 19-inch forged subfloors, but they don't talk about the underlying content. However, TRD promises to continue working with Supra, so it is expected that suspensions and brakes will be developed on Toyota's sports car in the future.
