As of summer, all Renault Mégane versions are available in an updated form. We take the news in turn.
More comfortable, smarter, thrifty will be the revamping Mégane, promises Renault. All versions are equipped with LED headlamps, increasing light output by 30%. All other external light sources are diode-based, including running lights.
The front bumper and the lower air intake grille have been modified. The body of the fog lights is chrome, with air deflector plates in front of the front wheel arches. The wheel drums themselves have been transformed and the outside handles illuminated. The body color range is enhanced by three new shades: two new grays are added to the palette in addition to the copper-tone finish. All driver support functions are operated from the steering wheel - including Level 2 autonomous driving technology, including highway and traffic assistant.
Indoors, we come across a new 9.3-inch multimedia screen (depending on the equipment) and a 10.2-inch digital instrumentation (also depending on the equipment). By default, the touch screen and dashboard display are 7-7 inches. Inspired by mobile phones, Renault promises to be more ergonomic, functional and user-friendly.
The combustion engine is powered by Mégane with two halves: the 1.3-liter petrol engine (100, 115, 140 and 160 hp) and the 1.5-liter diesel (95 and 115 hp). Later comes the 1.0 liter petrol with 120 horsepower. There are four modes to choose from, from environmentally friendly to comfortable to sporty. The fourth is MySense custom settings.
