Opel, Peugeot and Citroën brands, which belong to the joint owner, have been shocked by this shockingly large number of recalls this week.
The European Commission publishes a weekly list of recent recalled consumer goods, including automotive recalls, in EU member states. Of course, the description below is only a schematic illustration of the nature of the problems; if there is a suspicion of having a car (your engine, tractor, bus ...), please contact the distributor, in which case he is the source of knowledge.
Chrysler Aspen / 300/300 C: Due to the fault of the passenger airbag inflator cartridge, when the airbag is activated, metal pads may fly into the passenger compartment causing passengers to get injured.
Citroën C3: A badly assembled steering column makes the car unmanageable.
Peugeot 308/3008/5008 / Traveler / Expert: Engine oil can leak with a poorly tightened bolt.
Ford Edge / Mondeo / S-MAX / Galaxy: A climber clutch plate may loosen and fall to the road surface.
Lexus LC500h: Due to incorrect programming of the electronic control unit, the throttle control is not aligned with the gear selections. Accelerating on the highway can therefore stop the operation of the hybrid system, resulting in a sudden loss of performance and thus an accident risk.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class: A rear-side décor stick is badly attached, and the dripping element can fall into the road to cause an accident.
