In the era of smartphones, the auto equivalent of a power bank that has become indispensable is being put on the market by Volkswagen.
Volkswagen would set up its mobile charging stations at festivals, car meetings, holiday destinations and other periodically frequented points.
Containers presented as part of the Group's electrical strategy can be either temporarily or permanently deployed, just a mobile toilet, and can recharge up to 15 discharged electric cars with one charge - if the device drops below 20%, simply replace it with a new one (see above) ). Of course, it is also possible to connect the container to the network and then be able to charge the electric cars, electric bikes or scooters connected to it.
A vehicle can charge up to 100 kW at the same time, up to four cars can be connected at the same time: two for DC and two for AC.
The first copies of mobile charging containers will be deployed in Wolfsburg in the first half of 2019, and gigantic power banks will be available in other German cities by 2020. \ t
