The fuel pipe vent pipe may rupture, allowing diesel fuel to escape from the tank during driving or refueling. Fuel in contact with the exhaust system creates a risk of fire and diesel fuel spilling on the asphalt.

Improper configuration can break one of the steering linkage elements under heavy load. The vehicle may become uncontrollable.

Volkswagen Polo
Date of manufacture of the vehicles concerned by the recall: 05/03/2020.
The dual rear seat belt socket is not strong enough due to a manufacturing defect, so it does not provide sufficient protection.
