Elon Musk has announced in a Twitter entry in August that he is privatizing the currently stock company and has the necessary capital as well. However, the US Securities and Exchange Commissioner did not refuse to disclose where it was from which to cover the privatization, ie the acquisition of company shares.
After the announcement of Musk in August, the value of the shares of Tesla started to sink immediately, but it soon fell to a fall when it became apparent that there was no collateral for privatization. American newspapers suspected the Chinese investor or investors in the background.
The Securities and Exchange Commission launched an investigation and called on the directors of Tesla. Civil lawsuits were also initiated by the shareholders of the company, citing that Elon Musk, the Chairman and CEO, had misled them and thus had to make substantial financial losses.
