As previously written, an investigation has begun against Alfa Romeo pilots following the announcement of the 2019 Formula One German Grand Prix. Originally finishing seventh and eighth, Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi were in violation of Article 27.1 of the Technical Regulations, which states that the driver must drive the vehicle alone without outside assistance.
The two Alphas did not comply with this rule, and the clutch properties were different from those specified in the rules. As a result, they were both backed up for 30 seconds. They can also give up their ten points, only points 12-13. their place became theirs.
Thanks to the changes, the two Haas advanced to seventh and eighth places. In addition, Lewis Hamilton could leave Hockenheim by 2 points after an adventurous day, boosting his lead to 41 points.
And the tenth place finish was awarded to one of Williams's Polish driver Robert Kubica. The pilot made his last World Championship title in 2010, making him the first of this year's Grove stables.
