Hamilton won in China

Mercedes could win a double victory at the 2019 Formula One Chinese Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton wins the race from second place, ahead of Valtteri Bottas, who started off the pole. At the very bottom of the podium, he was able to stand up to Ferrari with Sebastian Vettel.

At the start, Charles Leclerc also overtaken his teammate Vettel, but with a few circles later he released the Ferrari Germany under pressure. In the back regions, McLaren's pilots blamed with the Toro Rossó Danyiil Kvjatt, who aired Lando Norris McLaren. Because of the debris, a virtual safety car section came into being, and the Russian got a box-pass-through penalty.

In the race, Mercedes was untouched, and the winning streak tried with two-stroke tactics. Hamilton had a convincing advantage over Bottas during the race, while Max Verstappen threatened Vett to Red Bull for the third place, but the Netherlands was unable to keep his German pace overall. Ferrari tried to move to Leclerc with a tactic of tactics, but did not come in behind Verstappen in Monaco, finishing fifth.

It was a lonely race for Pierre Gasly. Red Bull's French was the sixth fastest lap, the softest tires on the last few laps helped the plus one.

Daniel Ricciardo first scored for his new team, and Renault became the seventh.
