The turbocharger comes into play in the German Touring Car Championship, which brings a lot of horsepower but a more modest audio experience.
With the Mercedes triumph, the German Touring Car Championship - known as DTM - is well-known after 2018, but the other teams do not rest for a minute, preparing for the 2019 season. What's more, the huge innovations that fans will not necessarily enjoy. Like other series and, of course, the serial cars, the racing tracks take over the location of the multi-cylinder suction engines running with the heartburning torch, using smaller, turbo-powered resources. The DTM has also caught up with the change, so instead of the previous V8s, a 2-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine gets into the cars.
The BMW Pilot, 2012 champion, Bruno Spengler, naturally spoke enthusiastically about new developments. Of course, it is better to drive the car and the higher performance is felt on the machine, and the speed of the cars is also higher. So the series is going to come up with exciting changes technically, as it not only puts cars on a new footing, but Aston Martin also enters the race.
For the time being, accurate data on cars has not been revealed, but it is expected that performance around 620 horsepower is expected, as well as a top speed of over 300 km / h. This brings more serious brakes, cooling and aerodynamic changes. Two joint races are expected with the Super GT series.
