In its atmosphere and use of materials, the models of the 50s and 60s are evoked by Porsche’s sweet caper miracle, the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition.
The first Porsche 911 Targa was released 55 years ago, giving the experience of a convertible roof car in a safer form. The atmosphere of these ’60s Porsches is brought to you by the Exclusive Manufaktur’s limited edition 911 Targa 4S, the Heritage Design Edition. And quite simply amazing.
They go back a bit to the ’50s with the cherry red metallic color - to me smoothly just candy metallic - which is matched by white decorative stripes and start number, as well as the distinctive Porsche inscription on the doorstep. To this are added the gold logos and type designations. The whole thing is so elegant that it would have a place in the opera house in a smooth lodge as well. There are also beautiful alloy wheels reminiscent of the legendary Fuchs rims in the classic silver-black combination, with solid black calipers behind them.
This tiny circular badge is reminiscent of the days when there was such a tiny plaque when a Porsche 356 reached 100,000 miles. At the time, it was a symbol of durability and quality.
The velvety material of the Porsche 356 has been gently restored, but most places have burgundy or light beige leather upholstery. On the roof pillars in just as perforated form as in the now-veteran 911s.
The analog clock of the tachometer has been striped, but the numbers in the digital part of the instrument group are also displayed in the green color typical of the old Porsches. The 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition is made into 992 pieces and comes with a car-style watch.
