Recently, it was reported that in Austria, a speed limit of 140 km / h was set on a highway on one of the sections of Lower Austria.
For a sports car owner, it seems only the raise has gone into consciousness, but the specific speed limit is no longer. On Wednesday, a man was measured with a Porsche 911 GT3 at 338 km / h. That is, even the increased speed limit has been exceeded by nearly 200 km / h. The 34-year-old drove from Melk to Amstetten, and even his average speed reached 280 km / h.
It was stopped so that more police cars went out to force the car to slow down because they didn't want to close the motorway. In addition, it turned out that the man does not have a license.
Due to speeding, the police did not initiate a serious procedure, simply imposing a maximum fine of EUR 2380 for their actions.
