According to Bloomberg, the local police headquarters visited Tesla's Fremonti plant on Wednesday, which was notified in advance to the American manufacturer. Uniformers checked that the necessary precautions were observed at the plant, such as the existence of continuous health checks and safety distances, and that the workers there covered their faces.
The findings of the visit will be forwarded by the police to the Alameda County Public Health Office, where they will assess whether all necessary steps have been taken by Tesla.
In a statement on Tuesday night, Alameda County management announced that it had discussed safety and prevention plans with Tesla representatives and finally agreed that the plant could continue to operate officially next week.
