By the beginning of 2024, the M6 motorway will reach the national border, the cornerstone of the missing 20-kilometer section between Bóly and Ivándárda has been laid.
The 20-kilometer section between Bóly and Ivándárda (border) is 26.6 meters wide, with physical separation in the middle and a paved stop lane. The design speed is 130 km / h.
Three separate junctions will be built on the affected section, the M6-M60 separation, the Bóly-eastern and the Villány junctions. With their establishment, the surrounding settlements such as Villány, Töttös, Lippó, Nagynyárád, Ivándárda, Szajk, Bóly and Bezedek will be connected to the expressway network.
The investment includes the construction of 16 structures, the most significant of which are the bridge over the Villány-Mohács MÁV railway line, the valley bridges over the Majsi watercourse and the Szilvás stream. In addition, a complex resting place will be established at Nagynyárád, a complex control point next to Ivándárda and an engineering site in Babarc.
The construction will be carried out by the SD 2020 M6 Consortium with a net value of HUF 88.6 billion.
