With E.On’s new app, electricians can pre-book chargers for themselves.
The energy provider E.On has published a new mobile application. From now on drivE.ON. the company's electric car chargers can be used with the app: motorists can search for a map and immediately check if the chargers are available, which they can simply book before they arrive.
Chargers may be notified immediately of any chargers that are already booked but are released. Chargers can be booked half an hour before the scheduled charge, thus avoiding waiting times.
At the pre-booked charging point, you can set how long the charging is expected to take, thus making it possible for other users to plan the possibility of using the given charging point. During charging, the time and the amount of energy delivered can also be monitored continuously.
Due to the epidemic situation, the use of chargers is free for everyone for the time being. DrivE.ON is now available in Google Play and the App Store.
