Prior to the premiere, the BMW's biggest convertible, the eighth version of the 8th, is being tested in desert heat for the last time.
After the coupe's release, the BMW 8 Series is no sooner expanded, of course with the unlocked, open-ended model that has been shown to test. As usual, they are packed in mask film before the premier to show the 8 convertible, which will hardly have new form solutions after the less airy version.
There are huge kits and optional headlamps that can even be lasers. The car has only the finishing touches, so road tests are carried out at a variety of locations. One of the biggest trials in the United States is waiting for the prototypes, in the Death Valley near Las Vegas, the terrible heat and the dust must withstand the 8th BMW. After all, the temperature is about 50 degrees around the desert. In the Mojave Desert National Park there is a great drought in the heat as well, so the place is not suitable for cabriages, but perfect for testing. Here, hours of prototypes are drenched in the sun to find out how the onboard system, the various sensors and cameras behave in the heat. They also examine the climate and the seats. For example, in the Hoover dam, waves of hydroelectric turbines can disrupt electrical systems in the car.
The 8th convertible was in good places, so he traveled to Arjeplog, 56 kilometers south of the Arctic, where he met snow and ice, but he was already in France at the Autodrome de Miramas test center and the perfect Nürburgring for speed and suspension tests. Thousands of kilometers have been added to the BMW 8 during the tests, which hopefully will be the result of a premium car in luxury cars.
